The project involves the installation of 132,000 Volt underground cables that transfer electricity between the Rozelle and Pyrmont substations. The cables are a key element of Energy Australia’s network supplying the Pyrmont area and also parts of Sydney’s CBD. The new cables will need to connect James Craig Road in Rozelle to EnergyAustralia’s Pyrmont substation off Pyrmont Street.
Two 30" HDD crossings totalling 1230m are to be installed with the first designed to cross some 50m beneath Rozelle Bay and John Street Pyrmont and include 6 x DN 200 2 x DN 125 & 3 X DN 75 HDPE Conduits. |
